A lemon gold colour with bright clean appearance. There are soft stone fruit, honey and vanilla aromas from five months in oak. Crème Brulee, partnered with sweet tropical fruits, with some sweetness from the oak on the palate.
“The oaked Chardonnay for those that don't like oak,” was how we described this soft and supple Chardonnay when we tasted it. There is clearly oak, but it does not dominate the fruit flavours as so often occurs in some New World Wines.
