| Nabygelegen DMN Scaramanga |
|
Following a cool temperature harvest, extensive bunch and berry selection, the grapes were cold soaked over a five day period before fermenting in stainless steel. Regular punch downs and aerated pumpovers were followed by malo lactic fermentation, racking and pressing. The Scaramanga has been matured in French oak for a period of 6 months.
Aromas of leather and blackcurrant extend to the palate, with sweet berries and pepper. Rich ripe tannins with balanced acidity and finally a wonderful lingering finish make for a truly splendid wine, at a great price
and a fantastic name. You will be left shaken and stirred!
