This wine has spent eighteen months in 40% American oak and 60% in 2nd fill French oak. Deep purple colour, clear and bright appearance leading to spice and full black fruit aromas and vanilla from the American oak. Expect concentrated spice/pepper and mulberries, possibly raspberry on the palate together with a firm tannic structure with balanced acidity.
A youthful and racy wine, bursting with fruit, again with ageing potential, if you can wait that long!!
